Ok, now I was a late bloomer when it came to seeing Pulp Fiction. If you’re into movies, you’ve probably seen it. It really needs no introduction. The thing I love about this movie is how it simplifies the crime genre. The classical hit man characters are given personality in depth. This movie probably would worked with the Bruce Willis segment as its own film and featured the hitmen as very minor characters, with Marsellus Wallace as the villain, but Tarantino doesn’t do that. Instead he offers depth and development to characters that if handled by anyone else would have none. But enough about the story, I want to talk about the DVD itself.

This thing is loaded with special features, which makes the $13 I paid for it obscenely underpriced (but I’m not complaining, lol). It’s got your standard “making of” feaure, but it also has some production design features, montages, interviews, and about a million features devoted to the film’s reviews. If this DVD were a burger, it’d be tasty. If you haven’t seen this movie, then do so. It is a must see for anyone who loves movies. You can pick it up here.
