GTA 4
Ok, so lately I’ve been playing InFamous a crazy amount, and then add the fact that I was addicted to Prototype prior to that, you wouldn’t be surprised to find out that I initially thought going to Grand Theft Auto 4 would be a quaint experience. And I’ll admit, I wasn’t impressed at first. GTA 4 is the only GTA game that I cared about, because unlike the first 3 and the numerous spinoff games, this one looked like it took itself a little more experience, and indeed it does. It feels more like you’re playing the protagonist in a movie, instead of a game. I like the commentary the game is. I like how it isn’t loaded down with sex like the third one and the spinoffs. No Hot Coffee here, folks. The action in the game is really solid, but oddly enough, you know what my favorite part was? Just cruising around listening to the music. I stick to the Vibe (the sould and RnB station) and Liberty Rock. I don’t know why, it’s just fun to ride around.
Here are my biggest problems with the game. The gun fights seem really clumsy, cover system included. Whenever the fifth game rolls around, I hope they have that fixed. The game could also use an improvement in the driving system. It’d be cool if they could make the driving in the game closer to a simulation type experience, because not having very much control of your car = not good.
But yeah, other than that, I heavily reccomend it to people who shunned the previous games like I did. There’s something actually worth while in this game. If you think you want to give it a try, you can pick it up here! Grand Theft Auto IV
